The publisher

About us

SN-Verlag Michael Steinert is a family-run trade publisher based in Hamburg – on the market for more than 50 years. We think like editors, not like publishers: every decision starts with the question of what is truly relevant for our readers.

Our root and strength is print: 13 trade titles plus special publications. For 25 years, we have been consistently extending exactly that into the digital world – today complemented by 16 websites, 14 newsletters and also podcasts that interlock crossmedially. But we also know: some things can only be settled in personal exchange. That is why we create our own industry meeting places with the Hometex trade fair and the fisheries summit.

For decades, we have been part of the markets we report on – close to trade and craft, at trade fairs, in businesses, at manufacturers. This proximity and our precise knowledge of our target audiences make our titles relevant for readers and advertising partners alike. Whether magazine, website, newsletter or personal meeting: the same proximity to our industries is always at the centre.
